Beltrami Park
Ole Johnson returns again to provide Minneapolis residents a haunted history tour of Beltrami Park AKA Maple Hill Cemetery and to prove his fortitude in the face of the infamous GOAT (and sometimes GOATS) of Maple Hill Cemetery. Year 5 finds the goats yet again up to devious things, as they have formed a silent and evil GOAT COVEN to scare all who dare enter the park on the night of BeltramiSCARE! Be prepared for the other ghouls and ghosties who may also be waiting silently….for you!
Join us at Beltrami Park as we celebrate Year 5 of Northeast’s favorite Halloween event! Although we all enjoy Beltrami Park for the playground, pavilion, and bocce, among other fun activities, it was once used for a much different purpose. From 1857 to 1908 it was Maple Hill Cemetery, and many stories are still told to this day, especially around Halloween!
BeltramiSCARE Schedule
5:30 – 6:30 | Kid-Friendly Tours
6:30 – 7:00 | Magician Performance + Treats
7:00 – 8:00 | Scariest Tours (teens and up)
This event is made possible thanks to the large number of volunteers. If you’re interested in dressing up, being part of the tour, or even helping set up the event, we could use your help! Sign up here: Volunteer for BeltramiSCARE
