Block Studio Project Coming to Beltrami

The Block Studio Project is a grassroots attempt to engage creative literacy through building and maintaining corner donation boxes of Arts & Crafts materials.  Each Studio also serves as walk by workspace and neighborhood art project.

We are happy to announce that Beltrami Neighborhood Council has recently provided funding to the Project to install four studios in Beltrami, free of charge to interested residents or businesses.  Block Studio Project will provide the studio, installation, and start up materials. All we ask is that you keep it going – letting neighbors know about it, keeping it looking nice and relatively stocked, seeking out donations of lightly used materials or instructionals from fellow artists and crafters.  Check out some existing Studios at www.blockstudioproject.com.  If you are interested, send an email to Mathew Somlai, Coordinator, Block Studio Project –  blockstudioproject@gmail.com with any questions you may have, or if you want to set up a time for him to come show one to you.  There are a limited number of studios, so act fast!
