Beltrami Park

Beltrami Park is the heart of the Beltrami neighborhood.  The park features two playgrounds, a wading pool, bocce ball courts, soccer fields, a basketball court (with new hoops!), a volleyball court and a gorgeous timber-framed pavilion.  The Beltrami Park Building is closed during the winter months, but open and staffed during the summer.

Every year, the Beltrami Neighborhood Council funds supplemental programming and activities to keep the building open more often.   Several groups use the building including the Beltrami Neighborhood Council and the Beltrami Community Church.

In response to neighborhood input, the BNC approved funding for enhanced programming at Beltrami Park through December 2019. These funds will be combined with funding from the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board to bring these programs to our neighborhood park.

The programs that will be made possible with these funds include: continued indoor playgroup, naturalist programs, movie in the park, summer pop-up activities, summer Friday field trips to Jim Lupient Water Park, a summer kickoff party, and much more. Stay tuned to this page and our e-newsletter throughout the year for dates, details, and more exciting announcements about park programs.

It’s going to be a GREAT summer!
